Experience new life every day in a new way because of Jesus at The Well. Our student ministry is designed for youth in 6th through 12th grade to tackle the common issues teens face, build a community of support, and grow closer to Christ. The youth group at Fairview Church of Christ in Columbia, MO meets multiple times a week to give busy teens the opportunity to come together and slow down with their peers.
On Sundays, we meet at The Well before worship to learn together, and again in the evenings for more focused fellowship. On Wednesdays, we meet to dive into a devotional, and throughout the year, we attend camps and retreats to truly grow in His word.

Sunday youth group gatherings at Fairview Church of Christ
Before our Sunday worship service, we invite teens in 6th through 8th grade to join us for our Sunday morning gathering at The Well, our dedicated youth room at the church. This is a time for connection, conversation, and community as we come together to study God’s Word, share in prayer, and encourage one another. It’s a meaningful way to prepare our hearts for Sunday worship and to equip students with faith and perspective for the week ahead.

Join the youth group for Sunday Night Live
For an extra dose of togetherness, we invite local youth to gather on Sunday evenings for a time of food, fun, and faith. We share a meal, play games, and dive into Bible study in a welcoming environment. This weekly gathering, known as SNL, rotates between our church and the homes of congregation members, creating an engaging experience each week. Whether it’s laughter around the dinner table or thoughtful conversations about faith, there’s always something meaningful happening at SNL.

Meet us for Mid-Week, our Wednesday youth group gathering
We all need a break in the middle of the week, and that’s why we invite the youth of Columbia to join us on Wednesday evenings in our youth room, affectionately known as The Well. It’s a time to pause, reconnect, and recharge as we gather for a meaningful devotional and then shift gears for some fun with games and activities. It’s friendship and faith wrapped into one uplifting evening, offering a midweek boost of encouragement, laughter, and community.

Join us for our fall retreat, The Refuge
Every fall, the Fairview Church of Christ youth group partners with seven other St. Louis area youth groups for a special weekend of connection, worship, and spiritual growth. This event — known as Refuge — is an incredible opportunity for teens to come together, learn more about Christ and His teachings, and build meaningful relationships with youth from other communities. It’s a weekend filled with encouragement, friendship, and a deeper understanding of God’s Word. Don’t miss out — join us this fall for Refuge!
Youth in Action is an annual youth conference in Kansas City centered on growth
Each winter, we participate in Youth in Action – KC, where teens on fire for Christ gather to worship, play, grow in their faith, and forge friendships. It’s kind of like church camp, but in a hotel with comfy beds! Join us to experience Youth in Action each January.
Fun & fellowship at Camp Neotez, Missouri’s Christian summer camp
One of the most exciting events we look forward to each year is our summer trek to Camp Neotez in De Soto, Missouri. Nestled in a beautiful, wooded setting, Camp Neotez offers multiple weeks of programming tailored for teens and pre-teens, with sessions designed to meet them right where they are in their faith journey. It’s a chance for students to unplug, make lasting memories, and deepen their relationship with God through worship, Bible study, and outdoor adventures. Help your teens experience a summer of growth, friendship, and fun with The Well student ministries at Camp Neotez.
